As you know from my previous post, the Committee felt that Twickenham was not an appropriate event for our annual awards. We therefore planned a big day on March 20th with 2 games at home, unveiling of the Centenary Board, Players Awards and a band.
We chose that date back in December when this would have been the final home league game of the season. Things have clearly changed since then with all the weather postponements. At last night's Committee meeting we reviewed this and with 3 league games and a Warks Cup Semi-Final left to play after that date we have decided to postpone this to Saturday 24th April.
The format will still be the same with the unveiling, a top buffet, players awards and a band. And partners are welcome.
So please change this in your social calendar. However, remember that the club will still be open till late on 20th March with England playing France that night. |
